Saved 1 More From the Scraper

Saved a Oliver 1800 A gas last weekend. This is one straight tractor. Everything looks good needs some TLC and some Major Engine work and or replace we will have to wait and see! Gauge states 1,600 hours don't know how accurate it is, but if the exhaust manifold is any indication I would believe it.

Nice save. I would love to find one that looked that good for scrap price (and I would even prefer the tricycle front end).

I spent many hours in my youth working ground on dad's Oliver 1800A gasser with wide front end. Still my all time favorite tractor to work ground with even over the very nice IH 1066 diesel that came along later.

Oliver 1800A remains the most fuel efficient gasser ever tested at Nebraska.

If that"s the original rubber, I believe 1600 hrs also. But, other than being a gasser, I wonder why it was retired so early.

WOW! I want one just like it. I've wanted a narrow front gas A series since I was just a kid.
