It's a 770 new holland chopper. Here's another pic of it. Sometimes when the corn is heavy and the horsepower is light I think the throat dosent stay full and cut is compromised a bit. Still the bagger packs it well and the cows like it and milk well on it so its all good.

We use a NH 892 that we picked up last year behind our 1855. Works really well for us. I just put a new shear bar in it this year and spaced it out to only have 8 knives in the head, instead of 12. We replaced a Fox 3000, that no matter what I did I couldn't get it to cut haylage very short. So far no problems with the 892, but we'll see how good it worked when Dad opens up the bag of 1st crop from this year Is your head an 822? How do you like it? We've only got an 880 head on ours but it still works pretty good for us. Just wish we had a narrow head instead of a wide, because we plant on 32" rows.
