Engine 104160

Best call Charles City. It is not a 1650. You did not say what the block casting numbers were but a few of those blocks were used both as a 1750 and 1850. Also 427 was used for both a 1750 and 1850 for a while.

My build card specs says:
A-419, B-007, C-427 etc
with engine serial number 104160

The printout for the "50 series" says:
A-419 no explanation
B-007 no explanation
C-427 Standard speed on 1750 RC

I thought it was a 1850 gas but maybe its not.

I am a little more awake this morning, we sold a 1750 out of the first run and that serial number started with 180,early fall of 1966. What is the spec number on the serial number tag? The 427 transmission code was also used on some 1850 tractors

the spec # will look like... 285-21004 for example. in this case would be a 2nd run ,1850,wide front axle, gas motor.and most likely an 1850 is what you have.
