Cockshutt 540 remote cylinder

This 540 has factory installed 2-way remote hydraulic couplers. Can a one way cylinder be used with this system?

It can if you bleed the other side back to the reservoir. Cockshutt did that for the 658 loader when it was operated through the remote valve. You can port it into the drain at the back of the reservoir - lower left if I recall correctly.
