Oliver 60 paint trim question ....

On an Oliver 60 standard, I see calendar photos etc with variations on the paint on the little hinged cover that covers the radiator cap opening. I see some have it painted green and left it that way while others paint it green but the grooves are red. A couple I saw had the little hinged cover painted completely red (like the red strip between the two grille panels with yellow OLIVER painted on the letters). Is there a correct scheme to do this or maybe even Oliver did them differently depending on the year, model, etc ???

We purchased my 1944 Oliver 60 Standard in 1960. It still had most of the original paint on it. The radiator cap cover was green with the indentations painted red. The grille center strip was green on the outside edges, red in the depressed center area and yellow lettering. Here is a picture of the tractor today. It has been repainted, but we kept the original detail. Hope this helps.
