Picked up this plow today. Funny thing is that i owned it about 10 years ago. I guess its true "what goes around comes around".

My brother had an Oliver plough likethat, but on hydraulic lift. It had a rooster comb mech. lift. I was just starting out , and he would lend the plough to me. To plough down corn stalks, I used to hang chains down from the beam, just in front of the moleboards. This seemed to suck tthe stalks under, without the chain, you were pluged. He bought a 3tp plough and parked the oliver years ago. When he finaly got tired of doing a crumby job of ploughing,he draged out the old Oliver, mounted a cylider on it to lift, and has never looked beck to the 3pt plough. Good plough those trail ploughs. Looks like an Oliver 4340 3-16 plow. We have two of them, they do a better job plowing than any other brand plow I"ve seen of that vintage.

I know those vines grow fast, but that plow looks more like it was barn kept that what your picture shows!!!
