serial number

Can anyone tell me where to locate the serial number plate on an Oliver 80 Standard? Our museum has just acquired one and we"d like to know what year it was made, but I cannot find a serial number anywhere.

On the right side of the engine block just ahead of the oil filter

If the brass plaque is missing on the block above the oil filter there is no way else of finding a serial number. Below the governer housing is a month and year cast in the block when it was made that is as close as you will come. Duane o.
