The 77 my dad bought new in 52, I use it for tractor pulling, plow day and snow plowing. the 550 I picked up in in Dec. of last year and got it finished the 1st of August, just in time to show it at the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show . Sorry guys, I didn't mean to post about my 550 on here again, I thought I was posting on tractor talk. Chuck

John, I haven't be able to go to any pulls this year, it's hard to get away because of the my wife's health problems, but I'm planning on going on Oct. 13 in Monroe, N Y. I will pull 6 or 7 classes, 45,55,65,75,85,95 and 10500 if they have it. Chuck

Who do you compete with in the larger classes? Around here you need to have a lot of power for those classes! what kind of speed to they run in those classes? When my boy pulled in the larger classes you competed with 100+ horsepower in that 10,000 and up classes.

john, some of the tractors in the heavy classes are 820jd, w9 farmall, 4010jd, 1950 Oliver, and at the Williams Grove show in 2009 finished ahead of 2 hoped up 990s a super 99 and many others and I ended up 3rd in the 10500lb class. We put it on a large barrel manure spreader that we run with a 1755 and the 77 ran it better, so it makes good power. Chuck
