88 sleeves in a 77 block

Will 88 sleeves fit in a 77 block? I am thinking the sleeves are longer than a 77 but not sure if its just longer on the bottom end or if the distance from the lip to the O-rings is longer?

I am wondering if I would have to bore the block to make 88 sleeves fit. if that's the case I am going to see if I can bore my 77 sleeves out instead to accept different pistons. I do not have any 88 sleeves that are not currently being used. Hopefully soon I will have some.

88 sleeve oring will set below the block floor as they are a tad longer from the flange to the top oring. the groove can be moved up a tad n be in the ballpark. id cut the 88 flange down to fit the 77 flange for better strength.

88 Sleeves do not fit in a 77 block without machining... My sleeves are too small to bore out. Lovely
