white 2-70 283 diesel

Hey everyone, iam in the process of stripping down my 2-70 to start my puller project and was wondering if the factory 283 diesel had any value ? It blew a head gasket and was smoking so the previous owner pulled the head. It then sat outside covered up for about a year or so. it will definitly need to be gone thru

condition can make a big difference.I paid 500 for the last one I bought,but took the risk on it with no guarantee. mine also had no fuel pump on it.Where are you located? I may be interested if you are close

Hey Brad, I'm gonna assume your in Wisconsin? if so I picked up a 2-70 diesel in southern WI that was dumping coolant. I don't need the engine as it's getting a cummins. I haven't picked it up yet but I could arrange for the engine to be removed before I do. My e-mail is open.
