Looking at a tractor decaled as an 88 but with Super engine panels. Cannot locate on frame or under dash any number plate. Casting on engine reads 190320 K100C . Not finding a block cast date. It has 12 volt generator with numbers 102097 and serial number TL15 but who knows if that is original.
Any ideas with this limited info what year/model it might be?

If the block is original it is NOT A super 88. Look at the right side of the block, does it have the square plate by the distributor to mount a Hobbs type hour meter? If it does it was built say after Feb.of 1952. Did you look for a serial number plate?

Tractor does have a square block beside distributor but I did not find a serial number plate under dash or along frame casting. Was not able to ascertain any numbers other than previously posted. Thanks.

A super 88 will have flat machined surfaces on the belly casting to fit implements and there are no original side curtains on a diesel . I know that because I own a 1956 super 88 diesel.

check for a casting date on the head, it would me on the starter side on the top. i am no expert but our super 77 and 66 have cast dates at that location but i don't know if fleetlines do as well.
