ok, been playing with this thing for a while, here and there when i can, and with help of other club members, now we have figured that the mag may not be the right one, because can't get it to time the fireing order right, member thinks that it need to be mag with internal adjusting trimming wheel, is there such a mag, and where can i find/get one reasonable..bob

What model mag do you have and how did you time the mag to the engine? If you take the governor off can you find the timing mark on the governor gear and the cam gear?

will have member that has mag bring to next meeting this week, and will post model, think he tryed to match up pointers/marks, with no luck..

The original Cletrac HG Magneto was a Wico Model C-1113-B. Used on all machines up to Serial # 32GA055.
After that and onwards to OC3's they had a Wico Model XH-1113.

Fairbanks Morse was a popular replacement magneto as they were shipped without an impulse coupler and weight assembly. That way you could stock a few mags and just put the coupler and weight assembly that would match that particular application.
