my 880s crank wont turn after I put new rings in and oiled them and its too hard and there are hair cracks on the bottom of the head on the exhaust valve near the injector almost all of them have it the tractor ran should I be worried?

Dont mean to sound mean but sounds like you dont know much about what your doing. Most people mesure the bore and make sure the pistons will fit and then install a piston ring in the bore toward the bottom of the liner and mesure for ring end gap. You need a detailed engine manual with these numbers in it. If not its best to send it to someone with this info like a engine shop or someone that does this for a living. The rod bearing caps are mounted only one way and the pistons are mounted to the rods only one way usually to the rods so if only one of these above things are wrong it wont turn over. Hope this gets you on the right track. Duane o.

Duane has given you some good advice. Also the rods are offset, 3 go in on way the other 3 the other way. If ou put one rod asembly in at time just snug the cap and turn it over several times you should be able to determine what cylinder is giving you the problem.
