The Hydra Cooler on my 1800 is not hooked into the cooling system. I really cant see where it would hook in. Any pictures or descriptions please!
Thanks!

This may not make sense to youmbut not all 1800 tractors were plumbed alike for the cooler for the hydrapower drive. It also made a difference if you have an early 1800 and the hydrapower was added after the tractor was built. So how about a serial number to start with. I probably still have instruction sheets on the correct plubing that I can snail mail. Also on an 1800 A diesel it makes a different if the tractor has been equipped with the late water pump as well. Questions? J.

The tin plate with stamped serial number says 114364 886
The raised number in cast says 106 422A
Hope this helps!
I do think it may have been added later, the fluid lines are all hooked up I'm just looking to hook up the coolant lines. After mowing hay for 4 hrs yesterday it seemed to be pretty hot!
Thanks!!

That is an early 1961 model. The hydra-Power came out later in 61 or early 62. Now like I said I need to know gas or diesel and if a diesel does your waterpump have a bypass hose. A snail mail address would help. It is also wheat harvest time here so no looking for me for a few days. It should run cooler in low range oo.
