white 2-155 electric speedometer

I found an electric speedometer at a parts yard. It"s out of a newer 2-135. Is there anyway to tell if it works before I try to install it? The cab was the only piece there. Pickup assembly along with the rest of the tractor was gone. Thanks for any help. Gary

Don't know, our 2-155 tach works along with the 540-1000 pto rpms, but speedometer just quit working, it's a later one also, I never used the speed anyways.

Try these folks(Ag Express Electronics), they rebuilt the electronic speedo/tach unit out of my 2-180. They were very helpful to me in diagnosing what was wrong prior to me sending the unit in.
