1855 remote hyds. lift / lower to slow

got an 1855 a couple months ago , when plowing it lifts rear single action cyl. way to slow , now planting corn with 7000 deere planter , lifts and lowers double action to slow , doesnt matter which of the 2 remotes it hooked to both work the same , im sure it probably ajustment im over looking somewhere because the 3-point lifts fast and strong so i wouldnt think its a weak pump , can someone shed light on this , thanks

i forgot to add when you pull lever to lift position it wont release to neutral when equipment is fully raised , have to manualy put in neutal , im thinking this is a differant issue but dont know , thanks again to all replys

They may be two seperate issues and maybe even 3. Got a phone number? Do you have a 3000 PSI pressure gauge? Also there are adjustments for your first 2 problems as well. Has this tractor set out a lot, does it have a cab? I used to have some of those #2 problems and they were caused by the handle having rust on the pivot. J

there is a flow control screw located on the back side of the hyd. manifold it is next to the hyd. reservoir just to the insde of the remote valves it controls the hydraulic flow to the remotes. it has a jam nut on it and takes a 9/16 wrench I believe to turn it. turn it out to increase your hyd. flow. there are also two screwdriver slot adjustments one on the back of each valve they control the lowering speed to keep your cyl. from chattering.To change the kick out pressure of your levers remove the button plug on the valve you want to adjust then take a small ( I don't remember what size) allen wrench and turn the screw located inside that hole out lowers the kick out pressure

What 2 stroke said is correct, but you may have the same problems as one of our customer had. The pressure was too low to start with thus the handles would not kick back. That is why I said you need to make 3 adjustments. Double check your compensator pressure first.

thanks to all for the advise , i will try them adjustments , just to answer some of the questions asked , this tractor was for the most part stored in doors for years , the last owner had it 5 or so and kept under roof, but used it very little , has no noticeable hyd. leaks , i have pressure washed every thing 3 months ago no excessive leaks maybe some seeping here or there, but it wont leave any spots on my concrete floor or use any hyd. oil , nothing is rusted anywhere on valves- they where coated with oil & hay dust when i got it due to a bad line from valve to quick conn., im thinking and hoping adjustment is going to fix it , - i do have a 3000 PSI hyd test gauge, also have an original service and pars manual , just in case someone wants to referance them in there advise, but they didnt say much about hyd. speed adjustment , thanks again
