I have a Massey Ferguson Multi Power 175 Tractor and having a problem with the steering binding on return with right or left turn Any ideas on what could be wrong power steering pump ok and fluid level ok.

Sounds like your hydraulic cylinder is bypassing internally

Dick7805, i did some checking on that unit and found there is no hydraulic cylinder on this unit unless retrofitted. Is the pwr steering pump belt driven? Is the belt tight? Have you jacked the front up and see if it turns freely with no tractor weight on it? Could be the king pins are seized up or lack grease? Or the steering box is set too tight? Or lastly the relief in the pump could be sticking? Hope it gives you some more avenues to check. Duane o.
