Oliver 1655 Motor Overhaul

A friend of mine overhauled the 283 Diesel engine! Replaced all the bearings and pistons! After installing each bearing, made sure it turned easy. Starts up easy and runs until it gets to operating temp. Puts it on dyno and it runs for @ 5 minutes and starts laboring and shuts down! Like something is binding up? But it will start right back up? Not a fuel problem! Already looked at that. Any ideas? Has started tractor over 20 times and does the same thing each time?

maybe the transmission input shaft is seizing, try it with the clutch pushed down.

You stated that you had check fuel issues. What is status of the inj pump? Symptoms match that of a deteriorated governor weight flex ring.
