77 throwout bearing

got a 51 77 that has the non-greasable throwout bearing and its squeling when you step the clutch in would like to replace it with the greasable style I compared it to my super 88 and looks like I just need to drill a hole for the grease hose/pipe (which my 77 has the flat cast in where the hole would be drilled)

mainly wondering if this would work and also does anyone have a part number for the greaseable style so I can order one from napa or would I have to order it else where?

One word of experience,if it's squeeling,it might be the brass pilot bushing not the throwout bearing.

thanks for the tip I'll check it out when i get it apart, just figured it was the throwout cause it only makes noise when the clutch pedal is pushed in, squeeling was probly a bad description its more of a brake lathe chatter/chirp noise

Ya,that bushing is usually more of a growl. I think I'd be changing it anyway while it's apart. It's just a brass bushing and there's no lube in there.
