1550 Radiator Rubber Mounts

Neighbor has a 1550 Oliver that the radiator has seen it ninth life. He is buying a new one and wanted me to post a message to see if someone could tell us or show us what the rubber mountings might look like for this. We could build them if someone new what thickness they are supposed to be or know of a source to buy them. Thanks

Do they actually have rubber mounts? I don't think my 1600 did, and I know our 1855 doesn't as I just had it out. It just bolts solid to the side plates. Fairly sure the 1600 is the same, and can't imagine they did anything different on any of the other 4 digits...

I have been wrong before though.

Neighbor says that it vibrates so bad when bolted in that he had thought it should have some sort of vibration isolation.

I walked out and looked at my 1550 but don't see any rubber mounts, just round spacers on both sides.

no Don my 1550 didn't, if it vibrates badly he has other issues as a Waukesha 6 is about the smoothest engine there is

Yep,no rubber mounts. Don't know how you'd ever put any in and have things fit right. There's a flat plate on either side that bolt directly to the frame.

If there's a lot of vibration,I'd be checking the chain coupler.
