310 gas crankshaft

What needs to be done if anything to the pressure feed crank when using splash oiling rods? Do I need to plug the oil passage ways in the crank?

The answer lies is in the type of lubrication you have.

The 310 has pressure lube? blocking the oilways will reduce lubrication to zero?

Other than that, not really sure what you have.

You should tig weld the holes of the top of the 77 rods shut and use the pressure oiling of the 310 crank, if possible. If the stroking has "eliminated" the oil galley in the crank, I would recommend having those galleys re-drilled. Pressure fed is better than splash, especially at high engine speeds and loads.
