I have looked through the archives for problems getting this thing out, ive tried the wiggle and pull, the fidget and yank, the bolt and impact, I had the cutting torch out but decided to call it a day first :) But in all seriousness, The shaft hits SOLIDLY on something when it is about 8 inches out of the hole. Can someone inform me what is hanging up so I can try something different? If pto clutches then do I dry with the pto engaged or disengaged? If the hydropower is there a way to lock whatever discs or gears aren't lining up? Thanks, Adam

You need to have the lever between the brake and engaged position. I just removed one today without an impact. I put a pipe wrench on the PTO shaft to keep it from turning and gave the top shaft a few quick jerks with a wrench on the bolt I pulled it back with. Sometimes they are a pain! WB<><.

its the o-ring in the housing- push the shaft back in, and look with a light and get your pick- remove the o-ring and it'll come right out.

Just an update, came out on the third pull this morning. Thank you to those offering your help. just another case of frustration makes everything that much harder :) Adam
