550 front wheel align trouble

Hi guys, I adjusted the front wheel alignment (toe-in adjustment) 3 years ago. Today I noticed the front wheels were toed WAY out. The tie rod adjusters were tight. What am I missing here? How else can the front wheels get out of alignment?

Loose wheel bearings, bent tie rod. king pins on the way out ...

Broken gear inside the steering gear? Broken key at the top of the spindle where the arm in connected?

Gears in the steering box are worn and have jumped time. That is whats wrong on mine anyway.

Mine will do the same thing if turn too short to the left. The stop is broken on the left spindle and if I'm not careful I will turn it too far and have this alignment problem. Then I have to get it back in alignment by turning the steering wheel full lock left and kicking the front wheels to the right as a helper slowly turns the steering wheel back to the right. Just have to be careful and not turn too short to the left. Gonna fix that someday.

I had the same trouble and i jacked the frontend off the ground an alinged the front end.that fixed it
