1550 foaming hyd oil

What would cause the hydraulic oil to foam out the fill cap on a 1550 standard (no 3pt), I don't think the type of oil or amount filled were factors. Thanks

Type of oil for sure and if its over full. If its got hoses they could be backwards possibly as well. How is it coming along?

The only thing we can think of is when we added hydraulic oil, it isn't mixing with the old oil that was in there. We ended up buying 4 1550's , will have 2 good ones, a standard and row crop and will be an engine short of a 3rd decent tractor.
