Oliver 70 industrial

Anyone know what serial number the 70 industrial stopped at? Or how many were made in 48? On here it says that the 1948 industrial started at serial number 401691. I found 402098. Did they really make 400+ industrials in 1948? Does anyone got a higher number than this?

My source states that the last 1948 70 industrial serial number is 402230. This makes the total 1948 production 539 tractors. Industrial 70 production from 1945 through 1948 was much higher than in previous years. Only 181 Industrial 70s were produced through 1944. As an Oliver dealer we sold 2 Ind 60s, 3 Ind 70s and 1 Ind 80 for agriculture use in 1947 and 1948. There were few Oliver Industrial dealers in the Mid-West at that time.
