super 88 and 880 pto problem

my super88 and 880 pto kicks out when on the feedmill when its on the manure spreader it doesn"t whats what"s going on it feels like it"s going over center want to ask you guys think i tear it it
 
It sounds to me like you need to take some shims out so it goes in tighter.

It is supposed to take so many pounds of pull to snap in but I don't know the number without looking. It should be at least in a shop manual.


There's three sets of shims. Take them out evenly.

manual says you should take out 3 shims per set when adjusting for wear.

My super 88 did same thing would run the picker and square baler but if you got to carried away on the stalk chopper it"d kick out and I could smell it to
