Power Beyond on a White 2-70

I have a White 2-70 with hydraulics plumbed to the left side of the hydraulic cover. The valve for the front end loader is on the right side of the tractor. I would much rather have the hydraulic lines connect ot the cover on the right side. When I look at the ports and plugs on the right, it makes me wonder if this is possible. It looks like the return is on both sides. The line connected under the seat looks like it has a similar connection on the right side as well but I am not sure. I am wondering if anyone can tell me if these ports would work. Please see the attached pictures.

the port on top left by the dip stick is the power port. the side port is the return.just add more hose with a 90 degree elbow and run them around behind the seat and up the right side.

Yes I understand I could do that, but the point of my question was that it appears there are ports available on the right side of the cover. I want to know if the ports on the right will work so I don"t have to run hose around the back of the tractor.

To machine internal passages, they have to put holes in the outside and then plug it. The most effective way to do this is with pipe plugs. Not all plugs are meant to be removed by the owner.

On my Oliver 1550 (which I no longer have), I'm thinking the hex headed plug on the right side, highest up, just under the seat, was the power beyond port. There would be a 3/8" threaded hole inside, which you plug, then the juice is diverted to the outside port. But I'd recommend getting a book to find out for sure. And I don't know what you do with the present hookup on the left side- but it almost looks as if the two sides are symmetrical, and you could use either side. If they look the same inside, I'm thinking you could switch the internal 3/8 plug from the left to the right, the outer 1/2 plug from the right to the left, and the hoses from the left to the right. Same with the return line. Clear as mud, right?

I'm curious about that big plug on the right front corner of the housing- anybody know what it is?

I'm pretty sure that is the main relief valve. There are [u:d4977157d3]no[/u:d4977157d3] 3/8 internal threads on the RH side of the top cover, and no place to return the oil to the system. If you looked at the schematics in the Oliver shop manual and understand what passages the oil is routed through then you would know why the power beyond needs to be plumbed by the book. It has an open center, not a closed hydraulic system so you cant just get pressure from any plug you see.
