1865 LP Restoration Pics

The 1865 is almost finished. Still needs lights and maybe the exhaust pipe shortened, but it"s pretty close.

Was this tractor red before? What was the story on this tractor- I think I remember, but I am not sure anymore...

That is AWESOME! How is your seat shock absorber? They arent available anymore but there was someone making reproduction ones of them. I should still have his phone number here somewhere. I bought one from him but havent put it on my G950 yet. That is one sharp looking machine....

Looks very nice, just one complaint, should of masked the hoses, belts and alternator etc. but rather than that looks good.

Dad pours concrete for a living so that he can afford to farm full time. He found the tractor on a job site and traded some work for it. It is painted back to the exact colors with decals as he found it (non-masked hoses as pointed out above, aside).

I know he had trouble finding the seat, but I"ll have to ask him what the story was with it. He plans to have it at Platte City this summer, so look him up and he can tell the whole story, I"m just the scribe:)

If you are in need of a pair of rings and the pins that go on the 3pt latches, I make reproduction ones of them. Here is a picture of the ones I made for my G950 MM.
