I don't know, will it stop eventually? or there is a leak in the oil line from the head to the rocker arms? does oil run freely in the valve cover? its the only thing keeping me from using the tractor.

None of us have seen the tractor while it is running. Why don't you take the valve cover off and look to see if the line is the problem? Then start it up and watch it. How does it start when the tractor is cold?

I took the valve cover off. and the oil line is tight so I'm puzzled. so do you guys think if I plow with it and it will reset the ring? what do you guys think.
