1650 water in oil again

Wondering again if anyone had a head gasket problem cause water in the oil. I have the head off and looks like the three water holes in the back are blown. I ran it hot a while back. It started by skipping a little when it was first fired up and blowing water out of the radiator until the engine heated up. Then it started getting water in the oil later. Just hoping i dont have a sleeve problem. It is a late model diesel with direct injection.

I tried answering your previos post but could not post - it's clearly OK now!(so answered it just now)

Beware of hydraulic lock when a head gasket goes - bent rods are expensive.

There are other reasons for water in the oil but as you have the head off you cannot pressurise the system easily to check a leaky sleeve seal.

You don't usually get more than one problem occurring simultaneously. Seems as if you know why there is water in the oil. Just slow to get the fault fixed.

If it ran hot and it looks like three holes are blown, then I'd put a gasket in it,put it back together and see what happens.

Quite a few years ago one of the boys got my 1550 gas hot as a little red wagon due to a bad leak in the radiator and it took the head gasket out of it.
