Tractor tires are always out of round to some degree. After sitting overnight they can develop a flat spot too that makes the ride really rough until they warm up.

If one side got better and the other side got worse just by changing tires, it's the tires.

Just to be sure you can measure the roundness of your rim by measuring the distance from the center of the axle out to the edge of the rim at each lug location, or any 8 to 12 points around the edge of the rim.

If the rim were causing "throw you around in the cab" problems you could SEE that it was oval just by looking. You would have had problems mounting the tire.

Thanks for your response.
I have measured the rims and they check out fine. I know what you are saying about tires not being perfect - looking at other tractors, when driving them down the road, I can see "high" spots and they ride fine. This tractor doesn't ride good at all - in fact it has broken the u-bolts in the past.

Are you sure that the axles are straight. Jack up one side at a time and run it in a lower gear. Use something that you can hold up to the axle end and watch it to see if it wobbles. The other thing could be a defective hub. Don"t do the jack up and run by yourself. You need someone to help on that job.
