Just sitting here doing nothing,so I scanned some old pictures. Got a lot clearer pictures of that 8160 than the ones I've posted in the past.

Refresh my memory, I remember seeing something about this tractor. Is it someone's homemade idea of what an Oliver would have been if not for White, or is this the missing prototype that was never made public?

From what I've got on it,and I wish I had the guys name, but it was built by a guy in Indiana who does Cummins conversions. It's an 1855 with a 5.9 and the cab off of a 6000 series White. They said he bought the cab from the Coldwater plant brand new after tractor production stopped.

That thing is sweet! I"d love to see it in person. When did you run across this picture? I assume its been 15 years since the discontinued that series White???

It was at a show at the fairgrounds in Eaton Ohio. I'm gonna say it was around 1997 or so.
Lynch had a bunch of tractors there (I've got a lot of pictures of his too),I don't know if he'd know the guy who had it there or not.

That cab is from the Deutz allis 9100 series. White built them in a joint venture with Deutz. The cabs were very similar but had a different door and cab top.
