1948 HG42 Dozer

When the HG-42 tractors were in production, Oliver did not furnish the dozer. Other manfactures did. The 2 that come to mind first are Anderson & Ware MFG. Company. Apicture would probably help.

Likely an Anderson at that time. But Henderson/Ware is also a slight possibility.
Let's start with what does the hydraulic tank look like and where is it located? Where is the valve? Right side on frame with levers, or right side up by the radiator operated by a log rod?
I likely have the parts for it, if you can provide a bit more information or as John says, pics help A LOT.

Hydraulic tank looks like a box on right hand side with lever on top, next to seat. Filter is in front of lever with 2 studs holding down.
