Not quite sure what you're asking here- Are you asking about the cast centers that bolt to the hub?
The bolt pattern started as a basic 9 bolt, then Oliver added more holes where they could on the hubs into the webbing and such. Not sure of the reasoning. I'm pretty sure I could take the 9 bolt tires off my 1600 and put them on our 1855 if I really wanted to, and they'd bolt on just fine. Just not using all the holes in the hubs.
