new problem on another white. replaced the radiator on the 155 & took it back outside now it won't start. buzzer rings loudly when key switch is on but can't get the starter to so much as click. thought it was the batteries but load tester says not so. advice appreciated!

I had trouble with my 2-135 doing that. Had to kick the heck out of the clutch pedal to make it work. The clutch safety switch needed to be adjusted. Had to take that square edged cover off that stares you right in the face when you stand on the ground and look in the door.

I wondered if that could be it on the deeres you can jump the starter solenoid to start them but not on the whites. Will try & see what happens.

Did it start after you got it back together? What all did you have off? I cussed the rebuilder after I had the starter rebuilt last fall too. Wouldn't work for nuthin after I put it back on. There's a ground cable off the end of the starter that hooks to one of the bolts that holds the alternator bracket on. That's on there isn't it?

havn't gotten back to it yet. different set of problems got in yhe way, however the ground cable going to the mounting bracket of alternator is pretty checked up. that's why i asked the question so if someone had the same problem it might be fixed without pulling the whole tractor apart.
