I wonder if the Minnie is Fibber's( Hopson's shop forman)? He told me once that he had a G-1000.

Galesburg il at the mall, pretty nice no rain outs. Hopsons was a well known oliver dealer in Rariton il. Not: to far away. I'm sure thats John Swanson of Rio.

I grew up in Canton,il. My grandfather farmed in Alexis. In 1981 WFE (Duane Starr) hired me to be a service rep and sent me to California. I bought a small farm near Alexis a couple years ago and will retire next year and be moving out of this state back to where I belong.

Thanks for the shout back - Kinda thought you were out west.
Still Oliver nuts around here!

PS: Alexis is close enough for the Central Illinois YT Round Up.

The Minnie Mo Vista - Didn't notice a name tag on it.

PS: Was saving that for a later post - But guess the "cat's outa the bag now".

The G1000 WAS Fibber's, he recently sold it to Bob Grant.
The 1850FWA and 1600 Cockshutt are owned by John Swanson, feature collector in the Jan/Feb issue of the Hart Parr Oliver Collector magazine. The 1850 is not listed in the article because he purchased it after the article was written.

Alan K & G1355....I don't have any more pictures at this time but was assured that the G1000 would be at the show on June 1&2 in Abingdon, Il. Now if we could get kruser to come over and do a photo shoot for you....HEY KRUSER!! YOU LISTENING???
