Single front wheel

Has anyone put on or had a single front wheel on a Oliver 1650 with a mounted corn picker ? Also what size was the wheel and tire ?

That is a lot of weight on a single tire. Plus if you got into some soft ground you would be screwed. I wouldnt even attempt it.

I have seen a single front wheel on a 880 with a mounted 74 picker and it was here on yesterdays tractor a couple yrs back . As far as that a wider single wheel would go thru easier than a pair of smaller tires side by side balling up between the pedestal ! Most of the weight is on the rear axles with the husking bed or sheller on it and pulling a wagon .
