From searching other threads on this forum I have found a couple of options for a new radiator to replace the badly leaking one I have in the tractor now. Quite a few people reference Northern but there are some complaints regarding fitment and quality. I believe this site sells Northern. Someone also recently mentioned success with a radiator from AgPartsFirst but when I looked at their site, the photo displayed looks nothing like a 1650 radiator. I'm tempted to go with APF after confirming with Jerry that the radiator shipped isn't the one displayed on the site. But being that Northern is a local company and possibly makes the part here in the US, I'd like to give them a chance if they do fit correctly w/o modifying the support brackets or shroud. Trouble is, people seem to say they don't more than they do. :(

Anyone else have suggestions besides Northern and APF? I'd try a recore at a shop around here but one of the tanks is leaking and a recore seems to be as much of a risk as buying a new one made in China that may not fit quite right.

Call Jerry at Ag Parts First. I got mine from him and it looked and fit exact.

Thanks e, your post from a couple of months ago was one I was referring to here. Was your tractor a diesel or gas model? AGCO has different PNs for gas/diesel but the outlet and inlet diameters appear to be the same so I'm guessing they are the same radiator.

Mine was for a diesel. I don't know off hand if there is a difference between it and a gas. Jerry could set you straight.
