YES!! I would suggest billet rods with only an offset grind, GOOD pistons, valve train, billet cam if you have an extra $1k, billet flywheel.... Just to start.... Not a cheap build...

| i would hate to even guess, @ 2200rpm 425 ci would give around 140hp, if you did a cross flow head and some head work... I know of a 310 that has been hard blocked and a little stroke to it, it has a cross flow head, fuel injection, but the timing gear on cam twisted off.... That would get you some good parts, but you really need a billet cam, or it will break again...
