Fishing new wiring harness through fenders

I am going to rewire the lights on my 1655 fenders. The wires should run through the fender supports. Any tips for pulling them through? The old wires are long gone, so I can't use them to pull the new ones. Any thoughts on agri-services harnesses? Does Agco sell one? Thanks,
Josh

Any bolts going through the supports had to come out before I could get a fish through there on a 1650. You would have thought it would go through.

There could also be a build up of dirt and rust just above the the fender mounting bolts. That tends to rot the fenders out.

i got a harness from agri services last winter for the ih 660 i was restoring, a very nice original looking harness. it was a bit spendy but an exact copy not a "will almost fit". if you order from them be prepared to amswer questions on locations of different componets Jim wants to make sure it gets made right. be prepared to wait he makes everything to order and it took 6 weeks to get mine as he had that many orders ahead of it. he makes good harness and the best part he makes ones no one else does.
just my opinion but i would order from them again.

I took a long piece of tie wire (thin wire) filed it flat on one end and put it in a drill and let it spin its way up the fender, then used it to pull wire back.. works well but can skin paint if not very careful..Dave

I had to do the exact same thing on the fenders of my 1600. I had the old wires in most spots but I needed to fish some mechanics wire in on atleast 1 side that it was missing. Takes patience, but it's not too tricky. As has been said, make sure the bolts are out.
