I have a 2-88 White that I have turboed. My question is how well will the engine handle the extra stress from the turbo. Does the engine (I know its a Dot4) have enough oiling? I will only be useing the tractor for light work and tractor pulling. Thanks

well my dad took a regular 1850 and added a 105 turbo, and a few years ago a 105 head. he also added a 105 air intact for it because an 1850 was so small, i don't know how big an 88 intake is but if it is as big as a 105 you should be fine. now with the oil my dad may have installed a bigger oil cooler but i don't know. still if an early 1850 can handle a turbo for over 30 years you should be fine

I think you'll be ok. Ive got a few 1850's that have turbos. They just started out with a turbo and then over the years we have changed some things to make them a little stronger, a little better equipped to handle the higher horsepower
