1855 loader question

Cant help with what is the best loader, but really interested in how the v-12 project is coming? Do you have anymore pics? What tin work are you planning on putting on it?

went to sikeston last friday & got the rear axle off of a 2 wheel drive IH cotton picker. finished installing that yesterday, now working on the tin, the radiator is the corner stone for the tin, still scratching head!! pictures by end of week thank you

Koyker, and Great Bend seem to make some nice loaders. Ive seen a couple of both on 4 digit Olivers and they seem to fit well. Couldnt help with a model though. Our nieghbor has a Koyker on his 766 and it is a really rugged design.

I have a woods/dual 3100 on mine and it is a very stout unit. I am very happy with it. I will try to post a photo tomorrow, have to work all night

Pretty hard to beat a Westendorf TA-28 or the self leveling TA-29. We had a TA-29 on our 1755 and it worked well. Still have the brackets, if you or anyone else needs them drop me an email.

Depends where you are located, around here the dual 3000/3100 are common. They are an older loader but go on and off easily and will hold up to a 100 hp tractor. This is a 3000 on my 1955.
