1650 radiator

Should a 1650 gasser have a shroud around the radiator? The one I picked up just has an upright piece on each side, nothing that comes close to the fan. Also should the radiator have 3 or 4 rows of cooling tubes? Taking this apart to replace seals in hydrodrive and PTO, doesn"t look like what I should be seeing.

Yes,they had a shroud. Don't know whether they were 3 or 4 rows of tubes.

The question now is will this thing overheat without one, and how hard are they to find?

I don't think I'd run it too hard without one. Shouldn't be hard to find,I think I've got one here myself out of a 1600. I wouldn't be surprised but what Larry Svehlak would have one,he's on this forum a lot. Maibach Tractor in Creston Ohio would most likely have one too.
