1555 gas engine

Northern 77

Just curious what differences is between a 1555 engine and the 77 or 770! Does it have a pressure oiled crank? And is the head and block any better? Would a 77 crank interchange with it? Basically I am just curious if this was a better starting spot for building a puller!

You are comparing a lot of variables here. It is not pressure lubed, however the 15550/55 & late 770 blocks which are the same are much stronger than a plain old 77 block. They also have larger valves than a 77 and 550 valves would make them larger yet.
