Have a question for G1355

Sounds great, if ya can't get your email to work ill share my cell number......it's in regards to your MF 4900 tractor. Thanks Greg

Oh, if your wondering if its for sale it's not. Had it since it was about new and want to keep it. I will try my email later. Thanks

And the 4900 actually my dads, just posted a pictures of her to share, still use it quite a bit. If you have questions be glad to awnser them. If nothing else you can post it on here and then I know I could reply.

That was my question.......just figured since it seems your more of an Oliver man figured you might be interested in parting with it since you stated that it wasn't used much anymore! Anyway if your ever interested in passing it along to someone that would appreciate it and give it a good home let me know! Thanks MF rules

Ok thanks, figured that's what you wondered, to be honest with you it get most of its use on our 10ft fair snowblower, and a little use on wagons and a 1100 bushel cart. But if we ever decide to sell it I will let you know, don't think my dad ever will and if he does ill probebly buy it, just hit 5000 hours this fall, and we put on all new rubber, hope to restore it this winter, if so I will post pictures. But it's been a good tractor never overhauled or had any problems, all we do is put in fuel and change oil, and the strait pipe makes it bark, when we pull the 45ft disk you can hear it from a mile and a half away, and standing beside it you can literally feel the ground shake.

Just curious do you have any Massey 4wds, seem to be getting hard to find around here, I'd like to find a 5200 but never seem to find those for sale.

I own a MF 5200 I sold my MF 4900 to buy it and now I'm regretting it so I'm in the process of finding another.......that's why I asked if you wanted to sell yours! It's a very clean well kept looking tractor......a good 4900 is very hard to find, all ya find is junk!

Yeah I know, I turned my 4900 up to 425hp and it was an animal, I just stumbled across a 5200 and had to sell my 4900 to buy it.......now I'm regretting that move and wanting to find another!

So how do you like your 5200, it's basically the same cab and everything except the hood as the 4900 right? Our 4900 has 3pt and pto otherwise it wouldn't get used hardly at all, and ours is turned up around 425 to, our neighbor has an agcostar, wouldn't mind owning one of those some day to, never found one with pto and 3pt though

I like my 5200! I had it turned up to 500hp and it pulls really good!! The cab is identical to the 4000 series in exception to the interior being brown instead of black. It uses a versatile 12 speed manual tranny with a twin disc 12 speed powershift being another option if wanted. Mine has a straight six Detroit diesel 60 series engine verse the 903 cummins V8 in yours so it much quieter! Only negative to the 5200's is they were only available as bareback tractors so no pto or 3point! The agcostars were only available as bareback tractors too. I'm thinking of taking the versatile tranny out of my 5200 and putting the old 18speed powershift in it like your 4900 and replacing the rear end section with another on that has pto so I can use it on my graincart. Unless I find another good 4900 with pto and 3 point then ill leave it original.

Yeah the power shift would be nice, but the 3 speed isn't to bad for what we use it for. Was gonna tell you there was a nice 4880 on tractorhouse last week, went and looked but it isn't on there anymore but then it wouldn't have the twin turbos, doubt we ever sell our 4900 but if we do I will let you know, nice talking to you. If I find any 4900s for sale I'll have to let you know. Thanks.
