Thanks for sharing. Need to keep posting these will look great when done. How much power will that be putting out when done?

WOW! Looks like an old Euclid or Terex scraper is missing an engine! I am mightily impressed with the quality of work that went into that adapter! Is it steel or aluminum? It looks like you are using a 13" dual-plate clutch for a White 2-180. Is the flywheel a custom-machined piece, too? Back in 1996 I installed a Cummins 6CTA8.3 engine into a White 2-150 for a customer in Gonvick, Minnesota. I have recently seen a White 2-150 with a Cummins 6BT5.9 installed. Keep up the good work! Where are you located? I'd love to see this old horse when it is done! Please be careful, that "buzzin' dozen" weighs a few pounds! Enjoy a safe and Blessed Christmas!

A local company DROVE 3 of these twin engine terex dirt movers to a nearby scrap yard, we rescued one engine. The big flywheel is a detroit for the terex application, adapter hub concept is copied from kinze, little flywheel is 2-150 redrilled for 2-180 pressure plate. Bell housing adapter ring is steel turned by a local shop. Brad Maibach @ Maibach tractor gave good advice that steered me in the right direction . approxim ately 470 h.p. thank you for the interest we will add more pictures as we progress !

Wasnt it quite a challenge to get all of your adapter lengths right? Like making the bellhosing adaptor the right thickness, then the adapter between the flywheels so everything is the right length for the input shaft to mate up and work correctly. That seems like it could be very tedious and easy to mess up. Didnt this engine also make the tractor quite a bit longer?

the adapter length issues were handled by the machine shop that made the adapters, I didnt do very good in math in high school because mini skirts came into style when I was a sophmore!!
