5.9 cumming in a 88 oliver

If you are going to use the orginal tub it requires a lot of cutting and grinding to make room for the cummins. You could fabricate a tube frame to replace the cast iron tub. Then you have to locate the correct flywheel, clutch, clutch shaft, etc.
 
A guy in our neighborhood shoemaker'ed a 5.9 into an 88. He built a channel frame and mounts from scratch. Not too sure what the point of the whole this was though, the tractor is totally useless. The pulling organizations locally won't even let him run exhibition. Seems like a waste of a 5.9 to me.
