After much searching on the web, looks like I found the cylinder bore for the Hercules IXB3 engine was standard at 3.25. I know my engine had been rebuilt so I've been trying to find out if it has ever been bored. I'm miking the piston and I'm getting 3.105. Any idea what's going on here? |

| | With two tenths of an inch difference you might have noticed a bit of piston slap, along with little compression!! Mic the cylinder, not the piston in the first place. Choose an unworn section towards the bottom of the bore. I am not sure, but would not be surprised, if the KD engine had a bigger bore than the gas versions. |

| Once I loked at the tag real close on the engine, It said that, IXK. Even said, 3 1/8 X 4. |
