Have to replace the input shaft on my S88. Pulled out the old one last night and compared it to the other (good) one that I have. My good one is like 1/4 inch longer than the old one. Is this out of an 880 or something? can I use it in my S88? It will not be running a belt pulley. I have pics of the 2 if anyone wants to see them side by side. |

| Why not show the picture and lay them so the shafts are even across the front. We used to saw a lot of those shafts off if they had a power lift and I am sure there was a litt lvariation in the length. |

| schim isn't there a coupler between that shaft and the tranny shaft or I'm I way off base and thinking of a differfnt part? Rocko. |

| Yes there is but I"m replacing the shaft that goes into the tranny. Maybe I could just cut off a quarter inch off the back side that sticks in the tranny side? If its an issue that is... |
