Need a center link

Anybody have a bow style center link for my 1600. I went to a junk yard today and found one but they wanted 300 bucks for it and I thought that was a little steep.

Oh come on, I don't sell THAT much stuff!

I can't find it in my sales notes, but I believe I would charge $250 for one thats complete (includes hoop) and turns freely. I believe the last one I had that was seized up still sold for $150, and it had the hoop as well. Shipping would be a bit too since you can't get it into a Flat-Rate Box. If I was in need of one to keep, I would strongly consider buying this one you found.

Ok, im putting a different hydra power in it first. Ill have to make a run back down after I get the old girl back together. Thanks for the info.

It is a first generation with no updates to it. Plus I found a working one out of a 1650 for $600. I would have more than that in parts just to update and rebuild mine.

I have a 1600 diesel that has a cracked sleeve, the 2 speed was rebuilt about 4 years ago and was not run much, not sure of updates done. the tractor has real nice fenders and pretty new 15x38 goodyears, and a complete 3 pt. w/centerlink.If I could find more guys looking for parts I would tear it down. I am in Wi. and not sure of shipping costs..Tim 715-643-2411

FYI. There are 3 distint versions of the Hydra-power. I would pull the cover off and check into the condition of the splines and the low range output gear. We did a 1650 gas for a man last winter and those splines were almost sharp enough to shave with. Also the heady duty replacement gear and shaft are NLA. There are also updates to those covers. More questions?

You'll have more tied up in that 1600 than it's worth before you know it. A good complete runner is only worth about $2500. Why not take apart the hydra power you have first to find out what's wrong before spending $600. It won't cost you anything and you need to pull it anyways.

And if you don't need a top link right away, just keep tabs on ebay. Except for the U, you can buy the rest brand new and complete for $180. Call rock valley tractor parts and see what they get for one. You can dicker with those guys...and use the fact that new parts are $180 to negotiate a better price for used.
